Aw, sorry to hear you have both
. Thank you for replying!!!!
I'm glad you like the name! Eden is always a pseudo I like to use (I think it's beautiful) and Evanescent goes well with it (while capturing my depressed mood-- which is quite "emo" of me, I know, lol)! so I like to use it for a lot of things. My real name is Jenna.
I'm a little relieved to know of someone who has both Fibro & RA (although I don't wish pain upon you by any means) because it may benefit me to ask you some questions that arise here and there, if you don't mind!
My "new" symptoms which seem unrelated to Fibro started symmetrically in my feet, ankles, toes, then wrists, hands and fingers. My knees have also worsened significantly, and I TOO have TERRIBLE pain in my jaw now. I'm not sure if the jaw is fibro tension, TMJ disorder, arthritis, etc.!!!! Who knows until I can see doctors. But my my, do I relate to your symptoms!! The only issues I have with elbows sometimes is that they seem to lock and it's tough to move them.
With fibro, I ached and ached in the muscles, ligaments and tendons for years, but it was always "random" where it would hit; asymmetrically. I know exactly what that pain has always felt like. But then within the past year or two, joints progressively have hurt more and more, especially smaller joints of the fingers and toes, always in a symmetrical pattern. A wheelchair helps me to walk around a grocery store during my worst days, etc. My rings sometimes fit on my fingers, other times they don't-- I cannot get them off. But it doesn't APPEAR "swollen" to the naked eye, so I wasn't sure it was swelling or not??? And my fingers have become bent. Some days they look very bad, like claws, other days they extend out a little better, but still are always bent.
Can you relate to me and my symptoms?
Thank you so much for your insight!
I'm working on getting insurance-- I'm sick of suffering and this state not helping me! I've lost faith.
Love,
Eden
