Has anyone used turmeric in pill form for pain? If so how does it work and how long did it take to work? Thanks

I take turmeric twice a day 1000 mg. it does seem to help but depending on your pain levels it may not do enough. I also take pain medication as well. I take the turmeric for its anti inflammatory properties mainly. Blessings!

My husband takes turmeric in powder form he has to go to an Indian store about 100 miles from our home to get it but he swears it works for him. He has had a stroke before and uses a neurologist for that. He is from India and he told him that the pill fr, was weak and that the powder was much stringer. Both ra and this dr said that it is a natural inflammatory. I haven't tried it as it may help him some but it has side effects I choose not to deal with. Lol. Gassy side effects.

Thank for the info.. I have the pill form, but haven't started it yet.. I am always afraid to add new things to my regimen. I did talk to my dr and she said it was fine to add. I guess I need to suck it up and give it a shot.
