Antidepressants anyone ?

I do and yes they do help. I have been on them for years. My husband has RA and he just started taking them and he is doing much better... Hope this helps.

Hello I am new to this forum. Recent diagnosis of RA during a flare but, I now know I have had symptoms for years.

I'm 60 male, and I remember back in my 30's having ultra high fevers but no other symptoms. This went on for weeks, and I am not sure they ever checked for RA.

However I have been depressed throughout midlife and I am wondering if it is related to RA. I read that there is a strong connection between the two. Not just being depressed because of pain, but because the autoimmune response triggers depression.
