I have rheumatoid arthritis and I just got my second Enbrel shot but I'm still in a lot on pain. How long does it it take for enbrel to take effect?

I don't know, because I haven't reached that level yet.
I just wanted to welcome you to HW.
I'm sorry to hear you've got this stuff, but it sounds like you have a good doctor.

It can take at least a month from starting Enbrel or most biologics for you to start to feel any effect. For some people it's sooner. If the drug works for you, it will be worth the wait! I took it many years ago and I can recall that it took some time and then *bam* I had relief!
