I had colitis, iritis, psoriasis, and back ache over the years (a doctor suggested AS) .......The colitis spread and two years ago I had surgery, complications meant I was unable to have a jpouch formed, so I have a permanent ileo...so two years on suddenly I have rosacea, the AS back with a vengeance ...sometimes I can't stand up, it's painful turning over in bad at night and my fingers have started feeling a little sore...my eyes feel scratchy and I have the HLA b27 gene.....what the heck is going on....I thought once I had my surgery ..all would be fine ...

You need the help of a good RA Doctor to help, go make an appointment.
Also get into your eye doctor as it sounds like you need some eye drops. If you can get Genteal gel eye drops those help along with warm compresses for the eyes.
They can do botox injections for migraines if yours are getting that bad. You do need to use some relaxations methods to help get the migraines under control and try to avoid what triggered yours, try to get some rests for those migraines.
Hope your doing better soon, keep us posted.
Many welll wishes.

Could it be due to weather changes?

Weather could be part of what your going through, if you moved from cold and dry place to a warm and humid place then the humidity could be the problem. But you do need to seek out help with a better RA doctor and get more bloodwork done...and rest should help with those migraines, I also get migraines and have a heck of a one now and plan to take a tylenol with p,enty of water and a cat nap to see if that'll help...really hope your feeling better soon.
I've tried migraine meds and those just really don't help me, don't know why...tyenol usually works with a cat nap...
Make sure your getting plenty of water...

Hey thanks for that...interesting regarding the weather.....I have moved from very cold to warm and sticky .....I had blood tests for absolutely everything yesterday, got the results back and .........nothing ....nothing showing ...the tests were for everything from rheumatoid, liver, kidneys, thyroid, ...I even have a copy of the results here
I have doxycycline e for the rosacea and apparently eyes are affected by rosacea (I didn't know this) ....and tablets for migraine (just in case) and pain killers for now .....not sure what to do next ....

Hiya Ouchie,
We have two houses. We have a house up here in DE, which has normal mid-Atlantic weather. We also have a house in Clearwater, FL. We spend six months at each house, but sort of in fits and starts: 3 months here, and then one month here later, and six weeks for the holidays.
I have always been a winter person, and I honestly think my RA is better up here.
It's usually very hot and humid in Clearwater, and I am much more achey.
My husband has problems with his eyes, and they always ask him if he has rosacea. It started with trying to wear contacts after 30 years and having to dig them out. He scarred his irises, and when he blinks, he rips the scab. Keeping your eyelids clean is VERY important. Take a warm wet washcloth, and soak your lashes and lids. Then wash them with baby shampoo.
Feel Better. Hug, Hug.
