Hello. I'm in my late 30's and have been dealing with chronic back/neck pain for years due to a car accident.
One year ago, when I wasn't having any of the symptoms I'm having now, my allergist blood tested me for RA and a bunch of other autoimmune diseases and everything came out great, except that my Component C3C test was a tiny bit out of range.
I have a family history of RA--but only aunts and cousins---no siblings or parents with it.
Well, for the past three months or so, my joints in my hands (my knuckles) have been hurting me at night and in the morning. Most of the time, it's both hands, but yesterday, it was just my pointer finger--couldn't even bend it! They're stiff and uncomfortable most mornings now, except my thumbs are fine.
Oh and sometimes when I'm cleaning (which is very difficult for me), my hands lock. Strange?
Also, for about
six weeks, I've been running a bit of a fever and feeling exhausted. I wake up and my temp is usually 100.8 and then it goes down to about
99.5 all day until the afternoon when it goes back up to around 100.1. I'm taking Tylenol for it.
I am going to the doctor on Tuesday and wondering what she'll say. I feel terrible...exhausted, and feverish and just all-around malaise---y!
What do you think this could be?
Any tips to help with my stiffness?
Oh, and it's very difficult for me to rest b/c I have tiny children! Thanks.
