Trigger finger attacks

I'm getting attacks out of nowhere of my finger joints locking up in sudden intense pain.

When they hit I want to scream out in pain and drop anything in my hand.

What do you do for them ? They're so painful!

Hi I know where you are coming from had the same myself I grab my finger shove it under my arm and hop around crying - I find this works

I have had my finger Lock up when I was using a trigger spray bottle and I couldn't straighten it I tried pulling it but it could not move, it took about 20 mins before it released
or had the intense Pain in the joint when opening a lid etc that's the drop everything and hop around pain

This just started to happen to me! It caused me to turn into my garage door trim!! My doctor said I may need a tendon release but to only see a hand surgeon about getting it done. I will live with in for now but it is painful.

I know this pain well. My thumbs do it as do my trigger fingers. The joints lock and then snap back to place. First time it happened, it had me staring at my hands in shock.
