Yes, I am very careful with my diet as it has helped with inflammation. Unfortunately it has not been a long term solution for me however and I continue to have big flare ups and high markers in my tests.
I hope that you have continued success with this. There are some FB groups who are very big on this approach but they are also very militant in their mindset as well. Proclaiming that RA is curable via diet. This is simply not true for many.
If you begin to have big flare ups please think very carefully about
your decision on treating RA with this approach. It took a very short period of time when I was very sick for my hands to begin to deform. Im talking a noticeable difference over a period of weeks. This is why Doctors treat RA very aggressively rather than not like they used to. My father had aggressive RA as well and he was in much worse shape at a much earlier age than me. I am sure that this was a result of the changes in treatment regime. He could not work at a very young age as a result.
