Camama, you're not prying, I don't mind the q ......to answer your q...I said almost 10 years ago. It is actually 8 years in April (so right now 7y 10ms) My youngest just turned 8 and I had my tubal when he was almost 6 months old. I started asking about
it in Feb when I had what we suspected was a miscarriage (that would have put me at 3 kids in 3 years....ouch). Dr was hesitant to perform the surgery 'cause I was only 23 and far too young to have "that" done. My hubby was turning 31 and he was fine with it. I told my Dr. that if he could guarantee that I wouldn't get pregnant for 1 year and that when I did get pregnant I would have a girl, then and only then, would I consider not having "it" done. Since he couldn't guarantee any of that (not in his control) I was going for it with no hesitation. It was a very interesting visit with the Dr trying and trying to convince me to wait until I was atleast 25 to have it done. What difference would 2 years make when I had already made up my mind!!!!! Oye!!
We are supossed to get up to 15cm of snow between today and tomorrow (probably around 6 in.) Yet another system coming through on a Thursday. The last 3 or 4 Thursdays have had what we call "Alberta clippers" coming through. Basically a fast moving low that brings huge amount of lake effect snow with it. Grand total we have probably received close to 1/2 metre or 18-24 in of snow between all the Thursdays combined. I am beginning to dread Thursdays. At least they are guaranteeing us a white Christmas!!! yipeee!!!!!!!!
Nose is still dripping...driving me nuts but don't want to go get something for it since it isn't acting like an infection yet. Maybe it is my allergies with the furnace running more now. Maybe I should look at getting the ducts cleaned in the new year. We'll see how the money is after Christmas.
Hope all is well with everyone today. Just finished a three day bake-a-thon with my mom doing Christmas
cookies. We did 7 different kinds with atleast 6 dozen of each kind. Glad that is done. Now to get them ready for gift giving. That is what I give to all my and my hubbies family members as part of their Christmas gifts. I love the baking but tend to feel pretty ill by the end of the day with all the sampling.
Talk to you all later. My thoughts are with all of you.
