Hello Andowen....Welcome to HW!!
Sorry, that you are not feeling well, especially the painful hands and feet. Your hands, feet, fingers and toes have many joints. Does it feel like you are walking on stones or marbles when you are walking? Yes, although we have different pains in different places sometimes, we do have some of your same symptoms. On the other hand, you could be suffering from a condition similar to RA. Do you have RA in your family?
Did the Dr. call it stenosing tenosynovitis? This is also called “trigger finger.” Trigger finger involves the tendons and occurs when the fingers are not bending properly. Many people with RA are dxd. with this problem. They do get it repaired
Your Family Doctor should have referred you to a GOOD Rheumatologist. It would be a good idea for you to ask him to. The Rheumatologist deals with many Arthritic types(over 100) and other related diseases. They will do a physical exam, take your family history and send you for blood tests. Usually, they send a patient for exrays and/or an MRI but you have already been for those, so you can tell him the results or supply the exray itself for him to study.
