doing better.  tire easily but what the heck? right?

so i went to the ER monday after NOT having a BM for 9 days & increasing ab pain, fatigue & fever.  5 hours of hell waiting to get into the ER, ugh, and @ 12am was admitted.

CT scan & XRAYS showed i was FOS  (let your imagination figure that funny one out!)

so with a small bowel obstruction i served 4 days inpatient.

no solids or liquids the 1st 3 days!  i think that made me bonkers!  no food + no sleep + no liquids=erin's a zombie.

loaded up w/ steroids IV / antibiotics/ pain med shots to the stomach (which worked quite well).  had to tackle fevers, enemas, and being a pin cushion....but what can ya do.  the blockage is slowly getting better.

very happy to be home, battling shakes & tremors & fevers still.  fatigue is bad.

oh, the Promethius test showed i can up my Imuran! 75mg i can do now, i wasn't at therapeutic levels.

my GI doc and PCP were saints in the hospital.

that's about it. Ducky covered it all (thanks babe!)  and thank you everybody for the well wishes.

i remember how to spell correctly (thank God) i was seriously stupid for a few days! forget where all my crap was...how to get around my house, shower, dress....i guess very disoriented.

so here's to better days.

 boy am i gettin' the crap end of the stick! lol.  not a nice day AT ALL!!!!

wasn't supposed to take any prednisone today but the joints were just too bad. so took 40mg. no sleep. blah.

and Lord have mercy what a difference in my joints without having had my injections for 3 weeks! left hand is deformed! thumb is tucked almost all the way in...and my 2 big toes and that big joint around them is killer, plus ankles & knees & shoulders & elbows! holey toledo.  the Imuran & pred aren't cuttin it.

MEDICAID now covers my Humira supply...but Abbot oh so nicely forgot to inform me of that and also that i'm no longer recieving my shipments. so now i have to get it like any other RX...just bring the script to the pharmacy.

rheummy is mailing it to me. so i pray i get it today.

stuff like this scares me, so much terrible pain...and severe/acute to boot! sad, all the dilaudid i took, prednisone, tylenol and it barely helped it. (not to mention the narcotics aren't helping the obstruction neither.) can't win.

so all today i just hung like a Koala. too rough o' shape for anything.

not liking this!!!!  may today be better. i hope.

have like 5 bags of ice all over my legs...should just go in the tub.

spoke to a friend of mine today and he said it in a nutshell, "exactly how much are you suppose to take of this?"  really goes to show how serious and severe this gets and could get.

 awe thanx missie.  you'll be happy to know i did have raisin bran last nite.

so far not so bad today.  no sleep, a terrific bit of pain still. packing legs with ice now.   i think i'll do that...definitely rent a DVD tonite.

Im there with you on the RA pain in the hands, legs and no sleep cause of pred. and sometimes it not working, plus the turning in of the fingers, gosh its so annoying!

Youre in my thoughts.
