WEll

as I see this is a common thread people just "chat"ing each other about daily round.

So It's my turn to join.

Good moaning healing well, despite it's evening around here;)

I'm doing extremely well with my joints but other symptoms left side pain fever and eyes problems are not okay. I was on a sea trip last weekend to try to forget all these things but it did not work. Now I'm back I trying to finish a job for one client, wich has already exceeded its deadline, but the eyes are obstructing me very much. Thank that the client is very good-natured woman who does not pay much attention on my delays. We'll se what will come up with the job and my health issues.

whats going on with your eyes again? you know that eyes are my specialty for adaptations........
sry to hear you didnt fully enjoy your sea trip.....was it like a fishing trip or mini cruise?
glad you are comfortable enough to "chat" with us too.....

craig, i helped put in a bike path this past weekend, thought of you... i couldnt walk after i hauled all the mulch and chopped all the roots and brush away. i literally crawled sat. night... hands and knees!

ok i should have never started naming cuz now i will hurt someone by not naming them...

Those missed to mention, are just because of their fault. They probably haven't participated lately. yeah

I was mostly on a beach and pubs travel to a beauty small sea resort with my father. On the way back we past by beautiful mountain villages and towns by car. I ate much and drunk also much beer and concentrate, that's why maybe I'm having an abdomen aches now cool cool cool

Do you know where is Erin, will she come back soon?

Hi all.  Just got confirmation from the pulmonologist's office for my appointment Friday morning.  I can't wait until it's over.  Arthritis-wise, I'm doing fine.  Enbrel and plaquenil have decided to provide me more relief, and it's lasting long throughout the week (rheumy said enbrel would gradually last through the week).  I no longer cringe when I stand up on  my hips, and I can raise my arms above my head (except first thing in the morning).  Still have respiratory issues, though.  Allergies, probably mold allergies, hit me first thing every morning.  I cough all morning long so that by late afternoon, early evening, my chest is sore.  I've had a steady diet of hall's cough drops for several months now.  I'm really sick of them, but the menthol in them really clear out my nasal passages and the airways in my chest.  Regular cough syrup won't do that.  Plus, when I smell like Hall's, it virtually guarantees my own seat on the  metro :)

Husband is sick, so I'm trying to keep my distance.  These days, I catch everything (probably because of the enbrel).

Hope everyone is having a fine Wednesday--it is hump day!  And I'm taking off Friday afternoon to go to the local fair!

hi ducky thanks for asking...... still have a sore throat and sores or should i day bumps on my tongue... taking my folic acid like a good girl ... my rhuemy says if it doesnt go away by monday to phone him again and he will Rx something else... maybe that mouthrinse elcamino spoke of? i still dont know if my sore throat is from cold, allergies, or mtx bumps down in there? eating is hard as everything burns and stings even beverages... i find hot drinks and spicy food to be best maybe cuz the entire mouth reacts and the bumps arent alone? i certainly learned my lesson ... i will NEVER skip a folic acid dose again!

Maybe you have strep throat? Has your doc done a throat culture on you? I am groovy so far today... pain in minimal, so that is a plus... psoriasis plaques are starting to comeback, but my arthritis symptoms are still minimal also... maybe it's stress? Or the weather change? Not sure.. am gonna give it a month or so before I get too worked up over it ('cause then the plaques will just get worse)...

ducky sry to hear the plaques are coming back..... not having this i must admit total ignorance to what it is and how you suffer, but even so i care and pray it gets better.

i havent physically seen my MD or rhuemy just phoned in and told him about the sores and he up'd my folic acid to 2 a day.. said it should get better in a day or two and if not to phone him..... i dont want to be a pest so i figure i will wait til monday..... with strep throat would you have a ruffled tongue? i say ruffled cuz it is like both ends have bumps and it kinda looks like that ribbon candy u get at christmas.... no open sores just bump bump bump on both sides my right hurting much more than left side extending down the inner jaw and throat.... tongue bumps i can see and they are little fingernail size like what 2 cm? not open though..... i hope i made it at pleasurable as possible and hopefully next time someone eats ribbon candy they dont think of my tongue hehehehehehehe

all i can say is thank God i am married and not dateing ... no french kissing for me hehehehehehehe
my girls would be mortified that i said that hehehehehe just joking kids hehehehehehe

Moanin' all! Yeah, feeling under the weather turned in to the flu.....I seem to be on the mend, but I'm taking it slow as it's taking it's time.....these last 3 years really did a number on me, I don't trust anything until it's GONE now.

Hair is thinning madly again....not sure if it is from the liver or the PA....ugh....just what I need.

I hope everyone is doing better these days...good to "see" you all!

Yalinda, is it possible you have a yeast infection in your mouth? Is the "ruffle" white?  For some reason, after having my kids - my daughter got mastitis instead of me and I got thrush (yeast in mouth) instead of my son! Not fun!

Good Moanin' all.  Yalinda, Camama has a point.  Do you think you might have a yeast infection?  If you don't want to bother rheumy 'cause it's not an emergency, etc..., why don't you give your PCP a call.  What can it hurt to have a doctor look at it.  I know if I called my rheumy, and he felt I needed to be seen to figure out exactly what it is, he would tell me to go see my PCP 'cause I wouldn't be able to get an appointment with him right away.  Yeast infections in the mouth (thrush) can be a sign of immunosuppression, can't it?  Again, perhaps the upped folic acid will take care of it, but you may need additional medicine if it is a yeast infection.

I bet food tastes horrible!

I hope everyone else is doing ok.  The lower humidity here is wonderful.  I can actually breathe for a change! 

Off to the pulmonologist this morning!  And then to the fair this afternoon!

hey i want to thank you guys or as we in buffalo say "yous guys" hehehehe 

 

i am a bit freaked out but that is good cuz it made me call my pcp and i have an 11:15 apt! 

i looked on line and read a bit and yes both chemo and steriods can cause it in adults and i am on both  my tongue is not really white but i brush it 2-3 times a day so i am not certain if yeast gets a full chance to take over or not, ugh  fungus in the mouth  yuk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  i hope not maybe strep gone bad too?  who knows but in a couple of hours mystery should be solved.... i hope...

my doc was fully scheduled so i am seeing the PA but hopefully if they dont know they will call the doc into the room....... wish me luck and thanks so much again  i dont think i would hae phoned if not for the two of you so thanks a million!  yeah   yalinda tongue tongue tongue tongue tongue tongue tongue

Glad to hear that you're being seen, Yalinda.  Let us know the outcome.  Didn't know you were from Buffalo.  Hey, is it true that Buffalo really does have the best chicken wings in the world?  Our neighbors have relatives up there, and everything they come back from a visit, they bring some buffalo wings (no, I haven't tried any).

i think they, buffalo wings, are the best here, we order them once in a while when we are out of town and are always disappointed. but of course even here there are good wings~ great wings ~and not so good wings.....
i am in the burbs of bflo...

came back from my apt. with no solutions but i do know i do not have strep :) and it does not look like thrush :) but they did a culture ... if it comes back negative they will be clueless so hopefully it either goes away or ironically comes back with something growing on it... yuk

no mouthwashes or pills offered just something to numb it when i eat and i refused it

have to wait and see

how is everyone else doing? wont name names just know it means "you"

What a bummer you didn't get answers! I'm sorry. They were stupmed with no answers.

You know, I wonder if allergy medicine would clear it up. Long ago, I remember them giving me benedryl or something to swish and spit - it numbed it, but it also doubled as an antiseptic.

Good luck. I hope it clears up soon for you.

Overcast and yucky today...feeling it in my hands and wrists, shoulders as well....guess that's better than my feet and knees (shhhhh, I better not think that too loud....)

Good moaning everybody. My feet are BURNING from standing a lot yesterday to make banana bread, chicken dinner and fruit salad. I got to stay off my toosties for a while. I found out my insurance company wants to up my co-pays to see my psychiatrist from $10 to $100 which is a 1000% increase. It is a drag and I have written a letter. I also have major depression and feel sad about the whole thing. Well, I'll survive and all that jazz but I felt I must moan instead of phone in, get it?

sad  so so sorry guys!

as a few of you who i've spoke briefly with already know, i got sent back to the "slammer" friday.  it was a mess, but i fought my way out of being admitted for FIVE DAYS!  eyes yeah, PCP wanted me to serve 5 days inpatient.  NO WAY MAN!

so...on more steroids, trying to relax, and this week i'm going to have to make a lot of changes in terms of RA treatment.  it's just too umpredictable, the flares are uncontrolable, getting ZERO sleep, and just not a happy camper.

i missed a day of clinical friday for school, bummer. but hey...it's one day i missed in a month! :-) not too bad for the shape i'm in. my supervisor was an angel about it. and i have my ER papers so i can't get in trouble about my absent day.

i need a few days...so i'll be laying low. come wednesday things should quiet down more.  just trying to keep my head above water & not fall too behind with school & get my legs good enough to get through the week.

everybody be good! hang in there & talk with all soon.  i'll be catching up shortly.

hi everybody...my usual thing worked. I feel asleep at 8 pm and got up at 7 am. Sleep cycles do break up pain cycles. Feel really mad that everything comes to me so hard but I'm still trucking.

ERIN, do I remember properly that you are a nurse? Here's prayers for you. Take care of yourself.
