hi!
i'm now taking food supplements & vitamins since June. I have RA for the last 3 years and was only taking medicines prescribed by my doctor. i believe that we should take the medicines they recommend because they base it on our present condition but i also feel that we also should include food suppements that would help us w/ our defiencies
anyways, a friend of mine took a food supplement for the immune system along with vitamins (calcium,folic acid,MSM) and never tried any of the prescribed medine because she was too scared to have other serious illness & she cannot afford it because she has a limited income. After 6 months she gradually improved but after a year our rheumy said that she is completely well & it is not a remission. She is playing badminton now. So I tried it. My clients were surprised to see me driving & looking well. Imagine I have not taken any pain relievers for the last 2 months. I started last June although I get to feel some minimal pain that i can manage to ignore.
Ihave shared this w/ erin before. I feel so "GOOD" & too busy & well to the point that I have not seen my doctor from the time I have tried this supplement because I did not feel any pain or the need to see him. I will share the details when I get to see my rheumy & have the usual blood tests.
