Extreme Migrains is it connected with Rhuematoid Arthritis????

Hey everyone,

The weirdest thing started to happen to me this past month, I've notice that I've been experiencing extreme Migraines almost every day, and if its not a Migraine, then its a headache, its been non stop for like a month, but I've been experiencing Migraines on & off for like a year now...however my Migraines when they first started, it was only like once to twice a month..

Im starting to get concerned beucase now my Migraines have increased considerable... I have average of approximately 4 to 5 migraines per week, and on a good week I will get about 3 migraines, and the remaining other days of the week, its a constant headache..

I know with me taking Enbrel, the next day I get a headache/migrain guaranteed, but i havent been taking my meds regulary due to gastric/stomach upset...soo im kinda concerned...I also had a CT head a year ago, and it didnt reveal anything...

SO i wonder, is it possible that the RA is affecting my Cervical spine, maybe thats the cause of my migraines, all I know is that sometimes the pain in my head, can be soo unbearable, sometimes it hurts soo bad, i start to cry....anyhoot sorry for ranting....

Yeah I've mentioned it to him before, but at that time, it wasnt as bad...im meeting up with in october...but im afraid im going to have 2 get a second opionion beucase when i told him my hair was falling out, he just kept telling me, ur hair is fine, u still have plenty of hair...and between the constant Migraines/Headaches and the thinning of my hair...im concerned..

Yea Enbrel does give headaches, but it used to only happened the following day after the injection took place, and because ive been getting the headaches/migraines more frequently, i havent been taking my enbrel as regulary as I should...cause im afraid my headaches will become worse..


Basically I've been living on Excedrin Migraine's, Excedrin Tensions and when its really bad I try to get samples of Imitrix 100mgs, being that I work at a hospital my coworker gets a hook up from one of the doctors that gets an abundance of these samples..The imitrix helps me out alot but i always get that little oozy feeling right before the headache goes away..

Right now as we speak, i have a horrible headache...I hope this isnt serious, i dont think i can handle another Diagnosis...Sometimes I wonder at my age at 29, if i feel like this now, how am i going to feel when im 65...

im not on any anti seiszure meds, basically im on the RA Cocktail....LOL
Sulfasalizine 500mg twice per day
Diflinsal 500mg twice per day
Colchicine 0.8 twice per day
Vicoden 750/7 1pill up to 3x times per day as needed
Plaquenil twice per day
Enbrel 1injection twice per week
Prevacid
Folic acid

plus I have celebrex in case of emergency
plus i have tramadol-but it doesnt do anything
So basically thats my cocktail....LOL
