Hi I have an appt: with my Rheumy doctor Jan. 22nd.  I hope to get my Arthritis under control. Have been in pain for awhile. The vicodin does not help anymore or the Tramadol. I have a gut feeling my Osteoarthritis is turning into Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Hmm... Chrons arthritis is probably more likely that RA though you should definitely be tested the inflamation caused by Chrons arthritis can be just as distructive and painful as RA.
Sorry you aren't feeling well I hope they find something to help you.

Hi Teddybear - there are quite a few here who have chron's and arthritis. Maybe they can give you some ideas based on what has helped them.  Have you tried Remicade yet? That stuff works great for both.

Hi, I still having some pain from the arthritis. CaMama, I am doing remicade now for my Crohn's which has me in remission. The remicade does not help my arthritis at all.

I didn't read your bio. sorry. with chrons - can you take methotrexate or arava? The combo w/remidcade is supposed to really maximize both drugs. I am sorry to hear it is not helping your ra though, that really stinks.
