What kind of questions to ask Rheumy

I'm going to a new rheumy thurs. Can u think of any questions I may ask. My history is FM for 6 yrs with relentess pain and fatigue despite being on Lyrica. But I'm also displaying inflammatory arthritis symptoms and some blood work showing inflammation. My joint pain is knees fingers toes, one shoulder, and back. Also achilles tend in both feet and possibly shoulder now.

I just need help in what I exactly need to ask about present and future with FM and possibly some type of arthritis?

First, I would be more concerned with what to tell the rhuemy at the first appointment. You want a chronological list of your symptoms, what meds you have tried and how they worked for you. Then a list of all of your current symptoms and wether your current meds are offering you any relief.
Then if you get a chance to ask your rhuemy questions (which I find won't happen until the second visit when they have your labs back and have more of an idea of what your diagnosis is and your current condition) I would ask what he/she thinks the diagnosis is, what types of medications he/she will want to try first and what are the treatment goals-what kind of response to your meds can you expect?
Then don't forget to ask under what conditions you should call the rhuemy in between appointments-mine expects a call for any change in my condition but some don't want to hear from you (I would not see the later more than once).
