Well, it's been raining for two days and my body feels like it. This time it's my shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, feet and SI joints. Sigh.
Autoimmune disease is the blinkin' pits, isn't it?

I know exactly what your going thru Judy! For the last couple days, my hands have been super swollen and my fingers are pretty sore. And not to mention, my hips have been bothering me too. Today has been nothing but heavy rain and cold. Last Saturday was absolutly beautiful here - sunny and about
75. I so want that day back!

I think our rain is supposed to be over today, so by this evening I should start feeling better. Part of the problem now is that muscles and tendons are sore from protecting sore joints, so it'll take a couple of days for me to be back to normal.
I hate my immune system some days.

I can relate. Been raining here too, sore hips, lower back and thumbs, feel like I need some heat. Beautiful sunny day on the beach, warm water, bit of shade from a palm tree, maybe a slice of mango and a good book...I can only dream.

Ahh what a beautiful visual golitho! But instead of the slice of mango I wouldn't mind it being a margarita instead! :)
We are supposed to have rain until tomorrow. I woke up this morning and my fingers are even more swollen and now they're starting to get a bit red. Instead of one hand hurting, now I have both of them hurting. Judy, if you can - when you have these bad days, have you ever asked your doc about
muscle relaxers? I use Skelaxin and it does wonders for my over compensating muscles.

Sherry, I have used muscle relaxers and they do help at times, especially if the soreness outlasts the joint flares. Today we have sunshine and blue skies, and I'm feeling much better.
I'm way more accurate than the weather man in forecasting the weather, lol. Hope you feel better soon, too.
