Can i have some feedback regarding my current symptoms please!!!!!

hELLO,

 

im 41 yrs old and started having these symptom's about 6 months ago!!! I would ppreciate any input regarding this.

my symptom's are as follows-:

1. started on right shoulder pain and tenderness.

2.Same started on my right elbow area,pain when i ben and flex.

3.Pain and moreso tenderness down right inner forearm.

4. Pain in right hand. Swelling of hand and finger's. Tender also.

5.tarting to get pain and tenderness in my hip area.

 

Any input re this ituation would be greatly appreiated....

Hi Damagedgoods,

Your symptoms cetainly sound like they could be some form of RA, the only way to find out is to see a Rheumatologist, then the Rheumy can run the appropriate tests for a diagnosis.

My AS started with hip and lower back pain and is now affecting my neck.

I do get swelling and tenderness in joints, like you mentioned, but I think that may be due to my Crohn's Disease.

I would make an appointment with a Rheumy and take your list of symptoms and concerns with you and keep pushing till you know whats wrong with you.

Thankyou very much for ur reply to me. I will have to go and see my doc to get a referal to a Rhuematologist a.s.a.p. as it's getting much worse since i started my own business cleaning for alot of people that are unable to clean there home's due to debilitating illness. Also what do you mean about my signature?? Im usually on the depression or ostomie forum's and i dont have a problem with the moderator's,so what have i done wrong??? Please explaine to me properly as i dont understand what ur trying to say.

Hi Damagedgoods,

My Mother has a cleaning business too and I help her out once or twice a week (depending on how Im doing healthwise). Its very hard work but does help keep me active and is a good form of exercise for me.

Hope you dont overdo itsmile

Hopefully you can get into a Rheumy soon and get some relief from your pain.

Re: your signature - Im not sure if its the way my computer presents your post that makes it so long - you are not in troublesmilewinkgrin Im only new at this moderator business so bear with me and I will check to see if its just my font size that makes your signature too long or that it needs cutting back - no dramas  - dont worry, as I said you are not in trouble.

It's all right; you're not in trouble. It's just that it costs a lot of money to store longer signatures, so it's important to keep them less than ten lines long.

The moderators are normally pretty quick to notice long sigs and ask people to shorten them, but we've all had a lot going on lately so you may have slipped through without anybody noticing. Don't worry, though; it's not a huge problem; we'd just appreciate it if you could make it a bit shorter.

You might like to get rid of the bold print (which uses more space) and then condense a few lines, and that will get you back under ten lines.

I've taken the liberty of drafting a new version for you. How's this?

dx 1995, chronic depression,o.c.d. & bi-polar11
dx bowel cr 2001. permanent ileostomy. Sub-total colectomy 2001,went wrong.
Total colectomy 2001,left swab inside,infected,emergency surgery,blood transfusion.
Complications: bowel abcess,surgery. Infection at lap site,another surgery ,bowel heamorage,blood transfusion.
dx 1993 endometriosis chronic (27 yrs, hysterectomy; 2mths later, bi-lat ophrectomy,removal of both ovaries).
dx 2005,bi-lateral mastectomy,heart attack on operating table,contracted MRSA in Coronary Care Unit.
Picc Line for 6mths for venus access & daily antibiotics.
dx 2009, parastomal hernia,march 09 hernia repair & re-fashioning of stoma. Complications: abcess & peritontise,
emergency surgery,icu 5 day's.
Currently taking Avanza,seroquel,valium,asprin & HRT. I get depressed reading this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You might be able to remove a little bit more, if there's something you don't think is too important, and shorten it still further.

I can't believe you spent twelve months in hospital! What a horrible time you've had.

Hey damagedgoods - just wanted to see if you have been able to get a Rheumy appt? and how are those pains? Hope they are'nt troubling you too much.
