Some questions on bilaeral sacroiliitis if anyone can help..

 Hello...I  am 46 yr  old  female...i had a work related injury  back in 2001....herinated   discs at the  L4-L5  level with some  S1 root  nerve problems and   spondylolisthesis....this was terrible pain in my lower back...buttocks  and leg. Three to four months before i got straightened around...leaving me with still pain b ut not to the same degree in what i called the triangle...going from S1 joint to the hip and a spot in the buttocks which  never left me completely...took Naproxen  and Flexril for 10 yrs to help with the pain and it was  manageable.   Till  Oct of 2009 and it  became unmanageable...worst pain i have felt in my life..they CT scanned my my lumbar spine found  again 4  herniated discs with spondylolisthesis and S1 nerve damage. After 6months i wasnt getting  much better..so they decided to CT scan my S1 joint  and have also found now that i have bilateral scaroiliitis of S1 joint   i go back to my doctor tomorrow to find out if  this is serious and how do they make the pain go away....i havent worked in 7 months because the pain is so bad...anyone out here experiencing the same as myself would love to hear what can be  done to  get rid of this pain  and get back to my normal life.

  Hi SydneyJo and thank you...i didnt realize these type of sites were out here..very pleased that they are.Well i had my app. yesterday and now im getting worried..im goin to ramble abit here..When i got hurt in 2001 Orthopedic surgeon told me i had spondylolisthesis (forward slip) of vertebraes...ruptured discs..bilateral sacroiliitis some other things like pars defect and nerves pinched other medical terms i didnt understand, but overall after serveral months pain was manageable and stayed manageable with Apo-Naproxen 250mg 3x daily...Mylan-Cyclobenzaprine 10mg 3x daily with off and on physio continued to work( on a farm..strawberry plants.. pennierals) for 10 yrs. Oct 7 /09..pain became very unmanageable assuming the forwards slip happened..seeing my doctor CT scans confirmed again the above on Oct 7..only this time after 7 months i still cant keep the pain under control even with above meds and Hydromorphone 2mg every 4 hrs as needed...one wk things start to settle then the next wk gets servere again..The CT scan that came back yesterday of my S1 joint showing bilateral sacroiliitis in both joints with erosion of the right She is talkin about a fusion on the right side and telling me the likehood of me returning to my job are very slim.She is just my family doctor and feels i need to see  Orthopedic surgeon again.But she has me very concerned about my back now..and very unclear to what a fusion is..and also fighting with WCB for this was work related from my prior injury in 2001.Sorry for rambling but this is very fustrating..So for now i need to wait to get into a specialist.Any formation anyone interested in sharing about a fusion with simliar symptoms i would be interested in hearing
