I have been on humira since March. At first it worked fine. A month ago, i was put on water pills to see if I could get my blood pressure down. A week after taking the water pills, my whole body began to swell and my arthritis came back with a vengence. Has anyone had experience with water pills or high blood pressure pills while on humira? Or could this all be just a coincendence? This is all new to me. Do you still get occasional flare ups while on humira? Help

Jano, I'd ring your rheumy fast. It sounds too much of a coincidence to be unrelated. Whatever you need to treat the flare. Go ring your rheumy, now, golitho

I was going to say the same as golitho. It doesn't sound good and you need to be carefull. I'm glad you have an appointment, hopefully they can figure out what is going on with you. Good luck!!

Jano will you be ok untl nxt wed? Do you need prednisone for the swelling? Are you ok? If it gets bad go to the ER. Best wishes, golitho

I think I will be ok till Wed. If not, I will go to ER. Thanks everyone for your concerns. I am maybe starting to think that it might be a humira reaction. Maybe I can't take this med?
