Fungal Infections

I am on Enbrel and am being treated for a dermatologic fungal infection. I think that it started out as athlete's foot and has spread to other areas of the body. First it went to unmentionable areas and now is on my eyelids and lips. My rheumy wasn't too interested when I told him that my GP was treating me for it. My GP has me on Ketoconazole cream and Ketoconazole 200 mg tablets. My RA drugs are Enbrel, Arava and Mobic. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. I am currently changing my towels daily along with my pillow case. Is there anything else that I should be doing to get rid of this. I've been on the topical Rx for about 5 weeks and the oral meds for a week.

I got one on my chin about 9 months ago, on MTX. Was cleared up with Daktacort within about a week.

Red wine takes a close second ;) Don't know how I'd cope over in the states, where MTX is more dangerous to the liver.
