I'm new to this site, and am very impressed with it. I have been on here for a couple of hours now reading threads and am so glad to have found this!

I am 19 and have had RA for 3 years. It is amazing how much RA tries to take control of your life, and I am constantly trying to make it fit to my "college kid" lifestyle, though I know there are some limitations and I'm pretty sure I make time for a LOT more rest than many of my peers. =)

I have already found many things on this site that I am going to try, and I thank you all for your advise and support! Though I know my friends and family are sympathetic to my situation, none of them can empathize like you all can and I look forward to swapping secrets with people who know how frustrating it can be.

I'm not your age, but others here are, which kidda makes me feel bad that ya
young people have to suffer so with RA...but you'll meet others here that have been
thru what your going thru and sometimes that helps knowing your not alone...
we consider each forum as family, welcome to our lil family sure wish it was under better circumstances
you've come to a good place for support....well wishes...Also go to the national RA website
and see if you have an active chapter in your area, funny here in Houston, TX there's not
a huge active group, but we do have a good active Fibro group....
