Hello, I started having some problems last year, but it wasn't everyday & it was in my hands/fingers. Not really pain but stiffness. Then this year each month the problems seemed to be getting worse. By July I told my New Primary Doctor. She ordered X-rays of just my hands & said it came back with noticeable problems having to do with the bones in my fingers & hands.
Since June it has moved quickly...Painful, stiffness in fingers, hands, wrists, neck, back, hips, knees & feet. Thru the nighttime when I'm asleep I sometimes wake up with them really hurting. But by morning, I cannot move them as they are stuck in whatever position that I fell asleep in. Now the wrists are hurting as well. Trying to get out of bed really hurts & I can't get moving till after I take my pain meds (for pelvic/bladder trauma & dysfunction), & flexeril (muscle relaxer for tailbone). Trying to walk... It is really hard to explain how my feet hurt & they are also stiff. They don't bend with my steps, like when you take a step your foot goes heal bending to toes. Mine don't bend really so I walk flat & it looks ridiculous.
I tried Plquenil which didn't help at all. I was referred to a Rheumatologist & have been waiting for 2-months to see them. Well, tomorrow afternoon is my first appt. The papers they mailed me stated that the first-appointment usually is 2-hours, from exam, lab-work, x-rays. Not sure if this is common for the first appt. or not, but they sound very thorough. Hoping & praying that I see a good Doctor.
Thank you so much for listening to me & letting me vent. Don't know if I made any sense or not.
