OK, I know im probably going out on a limb here but while doing my home work learning as much as possible about
any possible treatment
i read in a book(the arthritis bible) by craig weatherby and leonid gordin,MD. It discussed a clinical research that indicated bovine (cow) cartilage can elleviate symptoms and may minimize tissue damage in RA and osteo arth. and 2 other arthritis's. these findings were based on
preliminary studies on cartilage therapy by the late John F. Prudden,MD long story short tests were done on patients that were all but imobile and they felt WONDERFUL painting houses doing regular things that we all dream of doing again. the injections lasted aprox.3 months .................the studys were poopooed and never picked up and were ignored. for a more in depth and quite interesting write up on this
get the book from library. Im just so upset when i read stuff like this because my options at this point are to take injections that can and most likely will hurt my liver make me week and a whole slew of other crud. when something as simple as this wont harm us but of coarse does absolutely nothing for the pharmaceutical companys gets ignored. I know we are at there mercy and can only do what they offer but.... if more people look into these things and say what WE want then maby another DR. prudden will pick up the torch if he feels like he has support. I certainly would try it.. OK Im preparred for an onslaught of replys. hopefully to say you have heard of this and agree.
