Hello,
I have had ankle pains since I was a kid. My mother use to wrap my feet with a T-shirt to reduce the pain so I can fall sleep. But over the years I learn to live with it and it had gotten less. But the last 10 years it has gotten worse and I have been to doctors and they have done almost every test (That they could think of on me).
The problem is it is getting worse and it is really effecting my job and life.
Here are my symptoms:
- Stiffness in my legs (below knees) 95% of times
- Aching Pain in my legs (below knees) 90% of time
- Aching Pain in my hands
- Pressure on my lower back
- bruise pain (when pushed on) on top of my feet, and palm of my left hand
I have to keep changing positions. I get up with pain 100% of times. Through the night I keep switching so my pain would change. If I walk after 5 minutes, the pain starts (Really bad and stiffness) if I set down, it changes but than it starts again.
I have tried EVERYTHING. physical therapy, different pain medications (From doc), shoes, heating pad etc.
I keep thinking it is from my back, because when I push on my spinal I feel like the pain moves, but the doctors tell me my back is like anybody else in my age. ( I am 37)
I always had chronic ankle pain when I was a kid and what I did was rap my leg with a t-shirt to fix the pain. I still do that and as soon as I put pressure it goes away, but that is only short term solution, because than it comes back.
Originally we thought it could be from weather, but now it is all the time, and I have noticed a pattern which I think it all points to my lower back. I feel pressure on my lower back, the problem is the doctors say my back it like everyone else, I have a very small arthritis of lower back but that can't be the cause.
I am constantly in pain any help or suggestions would really be appreciated.
best,
D
