I recently had a chest x-ray as part of a screening for Vietnam vets who were exposed to Agent Orange. One result was that I received a letter today from the Veterans Evaluation Service (contracted by the VA to conduct screenings) telling me they'd discovered the abnormality described in the subject line.
I've known for decades that I had some very minor arthritis, mostly in my toes and, to a lesser degree, my fingers. I have zero pain in my spine, and walk two or more miles daily. At 76, is there any point in worrying about this diagnosis out of the blue?
