Ankle replacement..INBONE

 INBONE ANKLE REPLACEMENT...I am on day 11 after the the inbone replacement,I am doing quite well,the pain is less everyday,I had the splint taken off and thewound is healing qite niecely,I had much more pain the first operation at kaiser,I can move my foot,wiggle my toes,and I can flex my foot,I stayed in the ORTHO HOSP two days,this helped alot for the pain management,going home the same day after these are hard and way more painfull.The new ST AnthonyHospital,Lakewood Colo was great.I can only be patient and wait for therapy,and hope for the best,as of now Iam really happy I didn't do the fusion Kaiser would only do.

Update on ankle replacement: It is going great...SURGERY DATE NOV16,2011,,,,,,,i went to my first TAI Chi session since surgery and noticed much better balance and strength...I have a very small arthritic pain on the left side, but it is way better..I have been swimming twice a week in therapy pool streching the achilles trying to get normal. I'LL be enjoying some of this Colorado Snow very soon skiing by March1.....Thanks to Dr Conklin at Panarama!
