Just got a lab result back with elevated Sed rate. of 36. Not terrible but what now?
I already have Hashimotos Thyroitis and a 387 Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody result as well. I know about the thyroid stuff, fibromyalgia, migraine, poly nueropathy and degenerative disc disease but would these cause a elevated sed rate too or am I looking at another condition?
about 2 months ago my ANA ELISA was 178...which was high...referred to new rhuematologist for more bloodwork and found the more detailed ANA labs were negative but other stuff came back high. First a maybe this is all related to Lupus concern and now it looks more like RA which they suspected over 3 years ago but the lab work never showed problems with sed rates.
I am so tired of feeling like a lab rat just waiting on more labels and no real relief from stuff.
What should I be asking for from the new doc?
