which RA bio med do you like the most?

Hi!!

I'm suffering from arhtiris again I was on humira and mtx realized 3 days before my injection my arthritis would normally flare more... so for me it says it's making it worse and since CD is in remission I decided to stop it. Arthritis is still bad though, so obviously MTX isn't working... I ask to up the dosage but the doc said i was at the highest dosage. And suggestion I do another BI med just for RA and not for CD. He suggested  Kineret, have you been on this? how long did it take to take some effect? I'm worried is this a med for someone who travels a lot?

I was also looking at Orenica... can anyone comment on this one? I much prefer to take something that doesn't have to be combined with MTX. do you take both?!

this is a new one but has anyone done Tocilizumab (Actemra)?

Is there one you may take I didn't mention that you swear by?

I just need something that works!!!!!!!! I want my life back

I've done the steriods (few different kinds including pred),imuran,remicade, humira,MTX... clearly the next med needs to be different my body is just imune to these!!

I played that game with remicade, it started the artritis real bad... so they told me to go from every 8 weeks to every 6 weeks that work for 2 months then it stop working so the told me to go from 6 weeks to 4 weeks. That worked for another 2 months until it didn't work anymore, they told me I had to get off of it. I was having a bad reaction to it. Same thing with the humira. I've done the 1 every week injection for the arthritis until it stop working for the arthritis all together. I stopped humira for a year... went back on it for another year and it started again. DOc wont keep me on it...as we know exactly what's going to happen

I started actemra infusions a few months ago and have been pretty happy!

How often is the infusion? every 4 weeks? The thing is I am going to go through IVF in April and I'd prefer to take something I wont have to detox (like MTX you have to detox for 3 months) if I am not mistake this one you take is 12 months!!!! I think this is why my doctor didn't give ME this option for now. So happy you've found something that works and you have relif!! thank you for your reply
