I have had 5 shots of humira, after the first one I got extreme muslce pain in my upper butt and down my left leg and was very hard to walk. At first they thought it was siatica, but it has not gotten anyb etter and after each shot it seems to happen around the third day but not iw never goes away. I have tried muscle relaxers and they help but not all the way, I feel tingly on the bottom of my foot when it gets real bad and sometimes it is very painful in my lower back.
They are having me go to PT for what they said was sciatica from possilbe bulging disc although no mri yet. Pt guy does ultrasound and massage adn then puts me on the bike.
I have been having a few days with slight very slight feeling of dizzy ness but not bad na only a few times every couple days.
I am concerned it is drug induced and afraid with each shot it will get worse.
Good thing is hurmia has made most of my joints and the faitgue go away, but at what cost? I can barely exercise cause it is painful to walk, and toinght my wrists are starting to be painful, it is liek I am not on anything,
very frustrating, I read Humira can do this yet I ask my dr nad she says no. She is a great dr and has TONS of patients, and I realzie it is not the norm, but I have never been the norm.
Seeing my primary care dr tomorrow to see about an mri and go from there.
