flu/bronchitis

Well I need some advice folks.   I have had the flu and it has now turned into bronchitis which I have been taking antiobiotics and steroids for.  I have been sick for about 3 1/2 weeks now.  Running high fevers you know.... all the good stuff that goes with the flu. I have had to be off of my Cimzia since I have been sick.  Have a call into the dr. to see where to go from here.  I am so very weak and fatigued.  My sed rate and crp levels were not good before I got sick and my Rheumy was going see how my next bw did and he was thinking if it was not any better I would have to do one of the infusion drugs....  My question is has anyone else and I am sure that  there has been had this problem with the flu and bronchitis and if so is what I am feeling a result to that along with the arthritis kicking up?????  Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

No xrays said my lungs sounded clear when he listened through the stethoscope. Said he could hear it in the bronical area. The cough is almost gone just so very weak and fatigued. No more fever either. My rheumy told me not to go back on the cimzia until all was clear so hopefully I can get back on it this week. Thanks for your help and if you have any further advice please let me know. Should I go back and let the doctor listen to my chest before I start back on the Cimzia?

If your not improving soon, go back to your primary doctor and get the chest x ray. I've had pneumonia and every time my lungs would sound clear, so on the safe side maybe get the x ray of your chest. Hope your doing better soon, many well wishes.
