She has been sick since the end of July of 2012. We recently have been seeing an infectious disease doctor. Blood work has been performed nothing really raised any questions. Recently she's been having fevers spiking to 106 degrees. We took her to the ER and her sed rate was slightly elevated. She continued with fevers complaining of headaches, and just not feeling and just not feeling well. She also has complained of wrist pain and that her stomach hurts. Her SED raise is now quite elevated at 80-85. She has been running a slight fever since July staying around 99 . and going up to 101. We are scheduled for a pet ct scan next week. I'm at a loss. Ant insight would be much appreciated.

I hope your daughter gets well soon! You have been through a long course of illness with her. I think the PET scan is going to give the doctor a clearer picture of what's going on. Have they tested her for juvenile rheumatoid arthritis? Asking since you posted here on the RA Forum.

Thanks. I read another post that was similar to the situation that we are going through, and of course it was posted over 2 years ago and they do not have an email linked to their account. :/ The doctor's have tossed around RA, but her tests do not point to RA, but her complaining of random joint passion throws them through a loop. I hope we got answers since she is so little. Thanks again.

I was in grade school when diagnosed. I too ran very high fevers, had joint pain, and elevated sed rate. I was diagnosed with JRA. One thing to note-JRA is very often sero negative. That can make it harder to diagnosis.
