I've got a question...

I have lupus as well as Fibro so you know I'm in a lot of pain most days. Recently I've started have hot hands. They are so hot other people can feel them. If you look at them they are really red especially around the knuckles and finger joints. They are also feeling very stiff and tight during these episodes. If I squeeze my hand into a fist I hear a snapping sound and feel my joints popping. shocked

They don't look swollen at all.

Do any of you have that happen to you? confused

Hi yes Quite often it burns i find if i alternate hot cold it helps

you can do it in a tub but the water has to be Hot in one Cold in other and soak hand then quickly submerge in the cold then in the Hot repeate untill hands feel better finishing with the cold

theres also some compression gloves you can get for RA i got mine thru the OT ages ago

I have RA and my hands are hot when I'm flaring. This is how my husband knows when I am in a flare, and he always tells me too

Guess I'm opposite of all y'all, my hands are always cold, so very cold that I'm lookiing into getting one of those parafin wax machines, I would trade you for your warm hands just once...it hurts so much to have cold hands, I touch someone and they say "darn are you dead your hands are cold."
I guess it much hurt just as much having warm hands, so very sorry your going thru this, hope you can get relief soon...many well wishes...

What's so strange is I can feel & hear joints popping when I make a tight fist with my left hand, but not my right hand. I'm a lefty.
