New to forum/Old to RA

Hi Group!

I have had RA since my 20s and have been down this road for the past 30 years. It has affected me in many different ways, but I was able to work 34 years and had a career teaching kids. I stopped at 50, I didn't feel too bad. Relief actually to be able to concentrate on me and all of my health related issues. I have tried many, many medications and currently am on ARAVA for the last 4 years. I also take 2 mg. prednisone and it seems to be working better than most and I feel stable enough to feel human most of the time. I have occasional flares and bad days, but my biggest issue is the fatigue, especially during the winter months. I hope to join in the conversation and contribute when I can and get to know all of you in the process of staying on top of the RA and managing a bit better.

i also have been on the Long Road with RA but it always seens to surprise you with odd symptoms dosn't it

Fatigue  Today has been a Huge Fatigued one for me hardly moved all day hubby asked whats hurting the most and i actually had to stop and think cos it was Everything a total Over All Bler

Arava Was Great and i felt the best ever while on it - untill my Liver decided it Hated Arava

Maybe look into vitamin suuplements, sometimes vitamin C, helps me. Make this and put it on you list of question to ask you doctor, maybe your doctor can be of help. Keep us posted.
