Had my rheumy visit and lab work

So, everything came back negative this time. Which I suppose is good news. I've actually been feeling pretty well lately and after my last round of prednisone the flares have been shorter and fewer. My labs have been negative since the year of plaquenil and half a year of prednisone. The doctor thinks I had some inflammatory arthritis left over from all the colitis that I had. I had surgery 2 years ago. As time goes by, I do believe it's getting better, the inflammatory arthritis. I did have some osteo show up on my x-rays. An MRI of my foot didn't show any RA. He wants me to get an MRI of my hands. I am not sure I am even going to do it. I think it will be negative. I also got a lot of stress out of my life when I changed jobs four months ago. I'll check back every now and again. I've had some long remissions, so we'll see how it all goes. ALso been taking a lot of Vit. D which really has helped and may have been part of my problem. I don't think I have RA. I think I was heading towards it but somehow it didn't happen.

Thanks golitho, I hope I am not being overly optomistic again...... As we all know, these things take a while to develop, many have seronegative RA and these things can be tricky!!!!!!! However, I am grateful for any pain free days or weeks I can get. I had such a horrible time with the colitis over years and years. I could use a break. I appreciate your feedback.
