All anti-TNFs carry a warning that the medications can make one more susceptible to upper respiratory infections including sinus infections.
I have been on and off various anti-TNFs [Remicade, Humira, simponi] since 2004. I had no problems while on Remicade but two years ago battled one sinus infection after another while taking Simponi. This also negatively impacted my asthma. After getting increased numbers and doses of medications to deal with my sinus congestion and subsequent sinus infections, my rheumatologist sent me to an allergist. Turns out I had become allergic to a variety of everyday items that was causing this problem to worse.
Not saying you have developed allergies, but could it be a possibility? That is the only other avenue I can think of you to explore. It may be that you are just one of those that falls into that 10% that has upper respiratory issues with Remicade.
