Hello all,
I have a question for you guys. I have severe eye involvement. Chronic uveitis, iritis, and keratitis, has severely damaged the corneas. After many surgeries and procedures, the eye dr has an idea that is new to me. The are called autologous serum eye drops. Basically, your blood serum(which is clear), is used to create eye drops specific to you. Your proteins, your enzymes.
Has anybody here tried these drops? Did the help? Right now the eye prognosis is not good. Something has to work. I've been getting monthly Cytoxan infusions with the hope it would make a difference with the eyes, and that has not yet happened. Still keeping my fingers crossed xxxx
