I had one yesterday and suffered excruciating pain. It was extremely bad, I am still in lot of pain. Is it normal?

asma59, are you putting ice on the injection site as that might help, I've not had this type of injection and do not plan to for a bit longer...I hope your doing better tomorrow if not maybe call your doctor's office.
Hope you get relief from this injection, keep us posted as we do care...
