just a whinge I go to the respiratory guy next week to see what's happening with my heart/lungs keep stop breathing the Cardiologist put me on oxygen about 4 weeks ago and it is helping a lot at night but once its off still get crazy turns-spinning almost fainting, blood pressure all over the place 110/95 then 153/110 then back to 110/80

 and ive got to try to get him to do some forms to try to get oxygen subsidized im paying for it at moment but cant keep doing that for long, we looked into buying a machine but at moment cant find one in our budget
Ha I always said with cost of living you'd end up being charged to breath!
just feeling crap everything is sore I missed my MTX this week cos I had flu (but thanks to getting the Flu Shot it was minor ) but im noticing no MTX  now .Everything Hurts my shoulders feel like they have permanent nails hammered into them so don't even try to lift them and Feet Ahhhh
can't whinge to Mark cos he's still sick he's had the Flu for nearly 4 weeks now and its knocking him around he's slowly getting better I think

its hard cos he's my carer and a "male" so he sort of thinks he's sick so I must be able to pamper him which I try but its a case of I don't get miraculously better, must admit he has been better this time than last time he was ill not so grumpy, I just seem to have run very short on compassion I cant handle him complain and I  Know he has Every Right to do so he has been Very Sick but its like im carrying Both our illnesses his and mine

I find im thinking yeah try having the flu and RA or when he says everything aches its hard to move and he's explaining how it feels ,,, I try to be sympathetic but feel myself inside scream -- hay yes that's me Everyday. and I hate myself for feeling like that.

awww Bad- so sorry you are so under the weather and that so is your hubbie. That sucks. I hope you both feel better soon. I know what you mean when you say it annoys you when he complains about a common illness he is experiencing while you have that AND RA. RA alone makes you feel flu like EVERY day. Hang in there-it's ok to feel like that but we both know he can't possibly relate because he doesn't have RA. Someone who hasn't walked in our shoes cannot comprehend what REAL pain is. I have a whole new perspective of pain.
So I guess you will have to bite your tongue for a little while longer with him... Sometimes when both me & my husband aren't feeling well and he'll say my elbow is killing me and I'll say- I hurt from head to toe- he'll scream YOU WIN! I'm just commiserating with him but he thinks we're in a competition eyes
Keep me posted about your respiratory problems, What the heck could that be? Good luck with getting the oxygen subsidized so it's affordable-it sure should be!

Luckily the cold I had cleared up pretty quick Thanks to Flu Shot

Hubby still sick but getting a bit better

I go to the Respiratory Doc on Thursday so will know more after that

its sure been an eventful year this one

So I went to Respiratory Dr and he wants me to try a cpap machine in conjunction with the oxygen

so I go back next week to get set up. But Hopefully I can get it under some subsidy cos this is killing me slowly Bleeding Money I think i'll end up starving to death but I'll  be healthy  shakehead

Its not fair to have to pay to breathe is it? Are you experiencing the same amazing winter weather that we are in Sydney.
I can't believe it's going to be 26 degrees celcius today. Worries me about summer.
Thinking of you, hope the respiratory guy helps.
You'rd think there would be something on medicare available, especially as you need it to live!

Hi Golitho

we are also having amazing weather 23c which is warm for us all the trees are Blossoming and even have bees about so Winter is Gone 

and Yes Very worried about a Hot summer

I went to the Respiratorist (think that's spelt wrong) he was a help I came home with a free cpap machine for a 3 week trial I use it With the Oxygen and so far 2nd night and seems good

he will lodge forms to get the machine supplied thru a scheme  once ive done trial he has to show it is needed to get it

so I will have to rent o2 for a while till I find out but at least there's some light.

Both Hubby & I are over the Flu well he still has a bit of cough left but WOW it was a doozy he had it for a month I sware by the flu shot it Worked mine was mild and didn't last long

Sounds like your weather was like our winter up north. I never pulled out my winter coat. I was able to wear long sleeves and a light sweater.

Right now the summer for us has been rather mild. There was a lot of storms and a few roasting days but we actually had a cold snap for a week during our normally hottest month.

By the way I love my cpap. I sleep so soundly with it.

Hi yes our Winter was Simular Very Little Rain although it did get Quite Cold but only for a short while

now it is Spring so unless we get a burst of rain that's pretty well it.

Global Warming

the Cpap machine Dose seem to be ok I had a bit of a sore nose today I think the mask pressing, and when I wake up I feel fresher

I always wake up with an imprint of my mask on my face. LOL!

Any looser and I wind up making funny noises through the leaks. :))

My sister had the most plastic face. I remember as a child she would always wake with the imprint of pillows or whatever on her face, she always had some form of creasing going on. Your description reminded me of her!!!
