busy week sore and running low on drugs

I've had a busy week, and So Very Sore I have had a lot of trouble with my Feet and trying to get shoes that I can walk in, I had I pair of slipper ugg boots but there for winter and 1 pair of casual soft shoes and they were dying, But to my Luck a Local store "Rivers" had a sale and slip on shoes called Barefoots which have Soft Spongy insides and Yes I can walk in them so I got 2 pairs and actually able to walk But that means I did more so more Tired !!

you may remember in September I had a bad flare and my GP increased my Prednisone to 50mg for 5 days then dropped to 40 for 4 days then 30,20, then 10 which I have stayed at But my Prescriptions are for 5mg and now im running out when I went to see Doctor yesterday I said I need more and he said you should have plenty, so not remembering this I thought maybe I'd lost a script so I go the pharmacist and ask has he got it , but no then he worked out the increase and said well that's where they've gone !
But now I have to try to get my GP to do more scripts without thinking I have abused them Which I Never Do, I Hate running low on Things like that especially Knowing I Simply Cannot stop taking them. and I have to try to get Another Appointment with him before the Christmas break

Oh Bad- how can anyone think someone would abuse prednisone! Lord knows if you didn't need that drug you hate to love you wouldn't be taking it! It comes with awful trade offs. I'm sure the GP will remember the dosage increase.

All my best-glad you found some comfortable shoes- but take it slow !

I would have to agree, prednisone is not something anyone would want to abuse, not with those side effects...
It's good you got some comfort shoes, now you just have to remember that you still ain't Wonder Woman and trying to do everything in one day...Take a deck of card with you when you go out and play a game of cards when you sit down to rest, it'll give you a longer rest break...

my doctor is good but can be a bit forgetful
I just hate trying to explain any muck up with drugs and as when I asked him the other day he said
you have enough till June but no I Don't not having used them the way I have taking extra to make up the 50mg etc. over a few weeks then taking double what I normally take for nearly 3 months that works out to 6 months normal use

I think I did overdo it a bit yesterday but lazing around today
oh and the shop I got the shoes is having them on sale again next week but only for 3 days so im scraping up another $20 and going to buy another pair - wow I Never do that shocked

I hope you won't have too hard a time explaining the situation to him. I always feel self conscious when I have been in this situation but thankfully my a doctor has always been understanding.

That is great that you found some comfortable shoes. Now the challenge is not overdoing it and feeling worse :)
