Advice and support needed for my 4 yr old with JRA.

I'm seeking others with parents that have children with JRA (JIA).
My DD has the polyarthritis kind.
She was dx 5 wks ago, needless to say we were in shock.
Her rheumatologist started methotrexate injection right then and there. She has 11 joints involved and some spinal involvement.
She's still struggling after five weeks. They are talking about adding Humira if mtx doesn't work enough.
I guess I'm just searching for others who understand what it's like to watch your kid flip a stool upside down and use it as a walker.

The good news is my DD is happy and loves to laugh. She's a ray of sunshine and we're so blessed to have her.

Hopefully she'll get a remission in her disease...Many well wishes and do keep us posted on here how she progresses...It's hard raising a child with a medical condition, my own daughter was born with a congential heart defect, she had open heart surgery at 12 days old, today she is 22 and just graduated from University with honors (doctor's told us she might be behind because she was on the heart lung machine for 20 minutes) so hopefully your daughter will still have a good life and you know what, they paired my daughter (at University) up with young lady that had JRA and had her good and bad days...
