R/a and lupus

Hello, my name is Beverly. I am 62 years old and most of the time feel like I am in my 90's. I was diagnosed at age 52 with both these uncurable diseases along with COPD. Yes I smoked but less than a half pack a day but I gues that does not matter now.

I suffer from flares. My problem is I neither know if its lupus or the the R/A. For the last 9 years I was treated aggressively for I worked for a Rhuematologist when I was diagnosed. I went on every anti inflammatory pill and injection available. Nothing helped. One year later I had terrible knee pain. Went to the orthopedic I then has osetoarthritis had two total knee replacements. Please I am not complaining there is alot worse off than me, I simply want to ask a question from someone who really knows how it feels not a doctor who could never understand this every day pain and fatigue we fight.

I have lost my appetite since my last flare which was two weeks ago. I can only eat crackers and drink water. Food totally makes me sick.

Has anyone ever experienced this? Believe I could afford to loose weight and would love too but not this way. Plese reply if you can.

By the way I was on infusions for the 9 years but had to be taken off 6 months ago because my lungs as the dr said are shot. No more infusions for me, and I am suffering. I live on prednisone. Cannot take methotrexate that damaged my liver.
Just know, I keep active as I can. I cook and clean every day. I do not lay in bed
