I am looking for suggestions about cities/medical centers that I should consider to find a good rheumatologist. Any suggestions? Thanks!

To start with, what country are you in? And what part of that country?

I found a great rheumy in the town where I live and it's not a huge city by any means. There may be good rheumys close to you.

I am in the midwest, but am planning to move and thought this would be a good criteria to add to others as we make a decision about where to retire. There are things we like about all regions of the country...probably not the desert, though.

If you don't like the desert, you wouldn't like my part of Washington state. smilewinkgrin

It seems to me that you'd want to look near cities - Seattle has Virginia Mason, Portland, OR, has many medical resources, etc. Of course the Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins have great reputations.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge will give you some ideas. Good luck with your move and retirement!
