Pains as if my hand is broken?

I've been fighting pains for a very long time and have seen numerous doctors with no luck. I am a disabled veteran so there are multiple problems, but lately it *seems* like arthritis is setting in.

Here are a few issues I have:

Pain aching in joints that were previously injured
Left hand sometimes feel as if it's broke. Went to doctor yesterday and they said there are no breaks
Aching in the areas that were injured years ago. It's like they never heal.
If I take a quick nap and wake up, my hands feel slightly stiff
Mornings I sometimes feel stiff and achy all over
My pain seems to move from one place to another. I feel like I can never win with it.

One of my biggest problems: after my gall bladder surgery in 2010, my body is allergic to meds that were not a problem before. I will get really bad body aches and nerve pain from it.

I have a doctors appt set up to see the arthritis specialist. All of my test have come back negative recently(except for a cyst on my pineal gland).

At this point I'm certain it's arthritis. Changed my diet a while back, lost over 25 lbs and have been trying to stay vigilant with reducing the symptoms, but it just won't go away.

I know there are a lot of people going through the same thing. I'm sorry you have to deal with it. It makes me feel defeated.

I have looked at my Xray of the left hand and(im no doctor) but it doesnt appear to be anything wrong.

At this point, its looking more and more like arthritis. The past few days here in my area have been heavy rains, always thought that was a myth.

Anyway, will update this post next week with what the doc tells me.

Another item to add to this post: I took some Glucosamine recently and it made my body have aches all over. To the point where it was hard to walk or function.

Addition: I went for an MRI to see why I am having dizziness since feb. My left hand pain is in the same area as where the contrast IV went in.

That was 2 weeks ago.

I'm not sure what kind of suggestions you're looking for - I think you need to be more specific with your questions.

I'm sorry you're in so much pain. I know it sucks.

Also, thanks for your service to the country.

Edited to add: Also, remember that we aren't doctors here. We support and commiserate, but can't really answer medical questions.

I'm sorry you are in so much pain, I definitely can relate to the feeling like you have broken a bone! My Rhuemy told me that mine is associated with my RA. I think it depends on where and which bones are affected, the smaller bones is the ones in my hands and on the tops of my feet that feel that way. It's very painful and I really understand how you feel! I have found this forum to be very helpful, informative and the users really care about your pain and issues.
