Hello all, I wanted to know if anyone has had any luck with SULFASALAZINE? Does it help with RA symptoms? I have RA and fibro and have lots of problems with my hands and wrist, right side of my neck down to my shoulder blade. Any advice would be helpful. TIA!,

Hi Teslagirl,

I took sulfasalazine early on in the beginning of my RA journey and I had very good results from it. In fact I went into a remission on it that lasted about 2 years. The only thing about it that I had any reservations about was that it kind of turned my skin a yellowish orange color over the course of a year or so. It wasnt horrible but I was a bit self conscious about it. I had no other side effects than that though.

I hope you also get some relief from it. Its a pretty mild drug which is always a good thing. It took a while for me to see results from it and they were gradual. I would say over the course of 6 months or so.
