Rianna, I've been thinking about
trying SAM-e, why did you stop taking it if it was helpful?
D-Rule, I have trouble starting a new med myself. They always look so darn scary, but, if you look even Motrin sounds scary. I had good success on azulphidine. But, if you have Chrons, it seems Remicade would be a good choice. Though, that is much more invasive and has its own risks. Your insurance may require her to use a more traditional med on you FIRST before approving a biological such as Remicade.
Many people swear by glucosamine, but it is very expensive. You might find (I have) that certain foods may trigger flares, but that takes time to learn what affects your body.
Good luck**
