devil yes the devil is working on all my problems these past several week! My RA, the Fibro, the DDD and even my IBS! I think I have the flu again. I'm hurting everywhere and my hips almost caused me to fall twice yesterday. This pain is getting unbearable and I feel like balling up somewhere and cry! Why do we have to suffer so much and get the flu on top of a major flare? Can't answer that one myself but I am not doing well at all today. Thanks for letting me vent. Hang in there Glea! I hope you are feeling better and I can totally relate. Ive been feeling like hell lately and my Doctors are not being very helpful trying to figure out what is going on with my abdomen. I can hardly pay attention Im feeling so crappy.

I am so sorry you are having a flare, with all of your conditions at once. Hug, hug, hug. I am finally digging my way out of a flare after three weeks of being sick

I am a newbie as far as knowing about flares, so I went to WebMd, to read about them. A major trigger for flares is stress and sickness. There seems to be a pattern, so I will tell you why I think I got my flare.

I got a UTI, and then I got a sinus infection. I was on antibiotics for over 3 weeks, then I got thrush. All the sinus symptoms came back along with bronchitis, and then to top it off, I fell over the freaking garden hose.

I guess my RA said that's it! She needs a flare to show her what she's messing with! So far, it's been over a week, but feels as though I have had it forever.

Is it possible you can stay in bed for a few days after you see the doctor? I gorked out on TV and just stayed in my pjs for DAYS. I got a shot on Tuesday, decided I was healed, acted as though I was fine for the day, and the next day I could not get out of bed. Surprise. I have been in bed since then, and today I feel pretty darned good, four days after the shot. I had the flare at least a week before that.

I am sorry you are having bad days. I really hope you feel better very soon. Whine and vent all you want. We all have some pretty sucky medical conditons.

Thanks everyone for your responses. Wish I could just lay in the bed when I get these flares but I have two beautiful grand girls that live in my home. They keep me jumping and I love ever minute of it. Hope every one has as close to a pain free day as possible!
