Hi,
I am new to this forum and I wanted to ask a question to anyone who might know the answer.
I have had severe neck/lower left rib pain/shoulder pain/fingers tips have turned blue ( only once for a week) I get a rash on my face with flu -like symptoms and fatigue. I have been to doctors who say I have degenerative disk disease, some who have said Myofascial pain syndrome, some who say torticollis. My current doctor has put me on prednisone, tramadol. diclofenac and norco. He has not yet told me the diagnosis, but from my research I think I might have RA OR Lupus? Does anyone know? Its been 5 years now.
Thanks!

We're not doctors here. A good rheumatologist will use the 11 indicators list for lupus to determine if it's lupus and xrays for RA.
it sounds like he's trying out different medicines to see what helps. Be patient it does take a while to figure out the answers.

I agree, go find another RA doctor, get bloodwork done and work from there as to find answers...
Symptoms, followed by bloodwork and then mris. Mri's are used more often than xrays....
