I already know its autoimmune related. I have a more rare type of arthritis called CPP that is attacking my soft connective tissue. It started with my joints 10 years ago. I've had 5 spine fusion surgeries, knee replacements, hysterectomy, & more. I seem to have been able to slow the progression in my spine for the moment as my degeneration is now mild, no longer severe.
As for my other joints - I'm in the same position as all you RA folks, considering hand surgery at the moment, can no longer use my right hand.
My arthritis is hardening the soft tissue in my entire body. It seems to have moved to my throat and lungs now.
Looking for anyone with RA or other inflammatory arthritis who also has lung issues. I'm on a course of the wonder drug prednisone at the moment & most moments in addition to a plethora of other meds, you know them all.
