Hi well I wanted this to be a positive post for once but knowing me unfortunately is got to be a bit of both
First the Good news - it never hurts to ask;
I have had a problem with my hair falling out for a while now from the Methotrexate and then with the added use of Arava it has been coming out in Clumps I have distinct bald spots,
I just assumed this was part of it & I couldn't do anything But when I had my Rheumy appointment the other day I just mentioned " oh & my hair is falling out" He said We can fix that, and has given me a new drug to take instead of the folic acid and has dropped methotrexate from 20mg to 10mg
I have reduced the MTX and am waiting on the chemist to get the drug ( sorry cant remember its name) as they have to order it in.
But I don't know it its the lower MTX or just another of my never ending Flares but oh have I crashed Everything hurts and the ruptured discs in my back are flaring and grabbing the sciatic nerve so I have shooting pains thru my butt into my hip and when I walk feels like a tight band pulls at back of my leg.
